Took a couple of tries but I was able to login. I'm not really sure the if force closes when rotating screen have been fixed, because the screen won't rotate
Moto Droid (2.2) If I rotate the device nothing happens. If I slide out the keyboard it appears the list refreshes but the orientation does not change.

Also, randomly getting force closes. Sometimes I will open the app and it force closes immediately. 5 seconds later try to re-open and it launches fine.

I've got the app running on an Evo with Android 2.2.... it had installed the app under 2.1, and after I upgraded I began to get force closes. I uninstalled / reinstalled the app, and it has been working well since. One thing I would like to see in the app as well is the Knowledge Base- when I'm out on a service call, I have my phone, and the KB would save time from searching the web for answers.

Uninstall and reinstall did not fix the force close issues.
When I slide out the keyboard on my Moto Droid (2.2), the list refreshes and for a moment I see a message: "You do not have permission to open this page http:/"

Glad to see SysAid is supporting the multi-platform dev environment. App runs well on my HTC Evo 4G running Android 2.2 but leaves many capabilities and features to be desired.
Just a suggestion for the SysAid Devs, to possibly save future headaches with support and maintenance for application overhead - but why not simply implement a roboust mobile site?
Currently there's nothing available on the apps for iPhone or Android that can't be done through a decent mobile browser.

I had a chance to use the app more today... it worked great. Another "nice to have" would be a way to log your activities with the app. The app is great for creating a quick request, and viewing general SR info, but a way to log my time while out in the field would be great.

Hi Piet.Petersen,
You will be able to use SysAid App to login to your CSS account but it will be the same app that we created for the SysAid IT edition so you will have the Asset section that you can't use.

Had to open external port (hope the code and web server are secure) but the app is pretty good. would like to be able to sort the open tickets. i like to use the reverse ticket number order.

manincharge,
Not sure why you had to open a port in order to login to your CSS account because we are using the same port as you connect from you pc or the web browser on you Blackberry.
Please change back the settings and then try to login to your CSS account using the Blackberry browser and let us know if this works.
I wasn't able to reproduce your issue in WiFi or the 3G network.

Hi manincharge,
Can you please let us know if you are using https or http to login? Are you using special characters to login? Are you using CSS v2.5 or 2???

Best Regards,

It does not remember my server name (https), userid, or password. It does force close from time to time running on Android 2.2
