I have no idea why they say that...
Was thinking more about "happy feet" products.
I despise Mac.
It's exactly the anti-thesis - style over substance !
Mua hah ah a hah ah ah ahahahahahahahhaaaaaaaaaa
Have you seen Airbook ?
Only thing cool is the thickness.
What does thickness has anything to do with computing ?!?!?

The best version is OPENoffice! no charge, no restrictions, but a little quirky around the edges. BUT it desperatley needs an outlook clone.

Yes I have seen the Airbook, aren't they making another one but to be more beefy or is that a rumour?
I like the Mac for their (seemingly) more professional reputation and design (apart from the fact that they have a lot of functionality also).
I'm guessing the thickness is more for people that travel a lot, carrying the smaller/lighter MacAir seems to be a better choice (if they can afford it).

Indeed...
*widened excited eyes*
More precisely an EXCHANGE client clone...
If it's a straight forward smtp-pop thing there's no problem.

Ooo don't get me wrong... they ARE professional. They are professional ARTIST.
And thinner and smaller is not interchangeable.. it's too wide to be small (read:practical).
If mobility is important I'd go with UMPC - fraction of the cost, same full functionality and power. Only thing to get used to is the 8" average screen and keyboard.

I like OpenOffice personally, but I tend to be a bit of an open source fanboy. Unfortunately, I've never been able to get Mozilla's Thunderbird to work as well as outlook. Here we use office 2003, but the only reason we aren't upgrading is that it takes a LONG time to train all of our users (most of which are not that tech-savvy) on how to use a new product when 2003 works very similarly to 2000.

I prefer the English version.
The US one is pretty funny too and Steve Carrol is a hoot. But all in all I like the original one.

Personally I love Microsoft Office 2008 if only for the e-mail client. Entourage is much better than Outlook IMHO.
Of those listed as options on this poll though ..... probably Office 2007. It has a lot of nice new features that I really like and work well for me. However, not being a really heavy user of Office (to busy fixing things, ya know ) then I'm not sure how it stacks up to the really technical user of it.
Actually, now I think about it I probably use OWA as much as I use Outlook at work due to MS Office's system overhead built in and "improved" with each version
now if you want a proper discussion, lets look at iWork v Office 2007 v OpenOffice

Tim,
I think that in ease of use, features and accessibility, Office is still the best, I tried open office a few times (for several uses, writing documents, doing presentations and calculations) and it still got a long way in terms of usability.
I did not got the chance to try iWork, but i was reading that MAC users also prefer office over iWork.
