Just tried two upgrades without success. Installation goes fine, but the helpdesk cannot get online again - tried to restart the SysAid Server service several times. A reboot of the server.

We are now back on 6.0.0.7 by copying the old files back and a full restore of the database.

Anyone else with upgrade problems or suggestions to what is wrong?

Are you using MS-SQL by any chance?

In 6.0.09 we did a few changes to the database structure in order to decrease the size of the database and improve performance, so depends on your database size, this upgrade might take a few hours or more.

My recommendation will be to restore a backup from before the upgrade, running the upgrade again on this backup just before you leave the office, let it run for the whole night, and it should complete by then.
