Importing a previous helpdesk service request/ticket database  XML

We are very interested in migrating over to Sysaid form our current in house system. We have a current ticket database(MySQL) of about 4000 tickets and would like to carry that info over into sysaid. It does not have to be fully compatible with all of the reporting option, although that would be a bonus.

If any one can shed some light on this is would be appreciated

Fire a formal support request to ilient.
This is not something you do based on peers' advice.

The process I would guess would be pretty standard (export from old - study structure - redesign/normalized - import to new).

In addition SysAid once supported mysql so it shouldn't be too hard.

That is not a bug, it's a feature...
