How do i access SysAid database using Microsoft Access or Microsoft Excel to create custom queries???

I really need some help here.

I know how tempting it is to tinker with database sysaid use because it's an open and standard one. But queries is a complete cycle of process (go in, do something, go out and put it somehwere). The part when it go out and put somewhere is the part you need to thread ultra carefully.

My suggestion is either you join others in barking on the dev teams through the request forum or...

Fire a formal support and tell them what you want to do. Don't think of it as begging. Think of it as commanding.

Which database type you are using with SysAid?
If you are using a third party database (MS-SQL,MySQL or oracle), you can look for tools that interact with the specific database type (there are specific tools\methods for each type of database)

If you are using derby, I believe it is not possible since as far as I know (and i might be mistaken here and i will be glad to be corrected), access/excel does not support the JDBC which is the only way to connect to the derby database.
