Follow up fields ???  XML

On SR customized list window there are 4 fields that starts with "Follow up".
Are they just text or they are link to project or change mgmt logic ?
How do one use them ?

Hi Obelix,

It's been a while since we last chatted in the community.....

Let me help you out with this:

Followup is a process that is defined on a closed Service Request.
Let's say you had an issues, resolved it and closed the request, but there is a need to followup on this issue with a specific user on a specific date and document the followup.
An example could be you resolved an issue that has to do with performance issues that happen at the end of the month and you want to followup on the issue with an end user on the following month - or in 2 months time.
You can add the planned date , user , actual date and text to summarize the followup.
Very important for some issues - especially in Change Management and Problem Management, but also in incident management.

Yes... yessssssss... as I hinted before... am in the process of virtualizing everything here... so *sigh*
Good to see you again too... *smile*

Back to those field... judging from the name it's important even in project thing.
Is it merely a place to jot things down... or they have some sort of notification capability ?
