Prerequisite : You must already know how notification in task
Dump outlook tasks and create your own notification system in SysAid !
One of the hardest thing to do in helpdesk is follow up an sr that needs periods of time to elapse or depend on other party's completion... and so on. How to have a universal notification for any sr ?
Preparation
--------------
1. Goto project modul
2. Create a project and name it "Reminder"
Now everytime you need a notification for whatever purpose in an sr you do :
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
1. Copy the SR no.
2. Link the sr to that "REMINDER" project
3. Create new task.
4. Name the task by pasting the SR no.
5. Set the notification.
6. Save everything.
Now you only need to remember to do this and you'll never forget anything anymore.
PS :
Don't forget to delete the task once SR is to be close.
