Hello,

I just signed up for SysAid, and I've been trying to figure out how to set up the SMTP for Google apps, since that's what my company uses. I've been researching this for a solid 3 hours with no luck.

Does anyone have any information regarding the use of SysAid with Google apps? If so, I'd be glad to hear it.

Gapps use gmail...

Gmail use ssl for both it's pop and smtp as shown here

Don't forget to enable the pop

The pop in sysaid integration doesn't have a port field... but you can simply add it to the mailserver... like www.mymailserver.com:port_no.

That is not a bug, it's a feature...

Hi - I'm a bit of a sysaid noob, but sysaid hosts our implementation, so how would I add it to the mailserver? Do I need it? I cannot get Gapps/gmail to work outbound at all. Inbound is fine.
