Hi, I am currently using the free version of sysaid..
I was wondering. Is there away to allow generic assets to show up in the default SR request form..
When users log in to the system and go to submit service request there is a bar for assets, but all it says is not associated with asset.
what i need is for that list to be populated with the generic assets.
can anyone help me ?
Thanks.

Alfred,
The asset will show up as soon as you associate the asset with the end user.
Just ensure that you specify how the asset is associated. Go to Preferences>End User Portal -- User's Asset determined by - Asset Owner etc.
This should resolve the issue.

If you use the User field you can associate the asset with more than one person.
You can select multiple users for the same asset.
You then have the change the User's Asset determined by - Network User.
Give it a try and let me know.
