I'm hoping someone can explain this issue with me.
I have installed our customized agent (Ver. 6.5.05) on all workstations and servers and everything seems to be collecting correctly. I am attempting to use the built in software license management in SisAid to keep track of our software licenses.
On our Windows Server 2008 Servers, the Operating System is identifying as 'Windows Server "Longhorn"' which we all know was the code name for Server 2008. However when I attempt to attach that server to the list of installed software, it (Server 2008 or Longhorn) is nowhere to be found. This is NOT the case for our servers running 2003.
This hinders us from keeping track of how many Server 2008 Licenses are installed in our environment.

Hi John,
Obviously there is no clear answer that people are aware of for this issue. I can't say that I have come across or know how to fix this issue. I would suggest logging a SR with SysAid Support via support@sysaid.com and have a look at the issue with the SysAid Technical Support team.
