I am trying to get Sysaid to send mail through my Exchange server. I am running an Exchange 2007 server, and I have Sysaid set up with the correct settings in Preferences->Integration

When I try to send an email to a user, the Sysaid software says it was sent OK, but the email never arrives. It doesnt show up in our spam filter either.

Sysaid.log has this to say every time I try to send an email:

The strange part is that the Incoming email settings work just fine, and it pulls all the email from our helpdesk box perfectly. I cannot get it to send mail though.

Any ideas?

Ok, I created a receive connector in Exchange and I've gotten a little farther.

Now when I try to send messages I get this in the logs:

G'Day

WELCOME!!!!!

Just a basic question. Have you created a relay in your exchange for the SysAid server IP??

I did create a receive connector, I though that was all I had to do? Is there a difference between a receive connector and a relay?

We have one similar configuration, You need have sysaid server ip address in relay allow list or have option "allow relay for authentificated user" checked and correctly set up user and pass in sysaid email integration.

If you are using imap for mail messages download i recomend set upper limits for imap connection, sometimes exchange deny message download because sysaid server reach limit conneciton set in default on exchange server.

Hello Franklin Energy,

Welcome to SysAid community
I also think that this is a relay issue. Another thing, on which operating system your SysAid server is installed? and which version as well.
