Hello. I currently have sysaid installed on a server I am about to retire. I would like to install the newer version on my other server and remove it from the old one. I cannot seem to find the installation files and help chat is offline. Can anyone help?

Download the free trial, then replace the activation file within the software to the current one in your retiring installation.

Hello mikegeig,
What is the SysAid version that is currently installed on ? before you covert it to a new server, you need to upgrade your old server to 6.5.08 . Then , do a clean installation on the new server and move your database. The only question here is which database type are you using?

Actually, I am not interested in bringing my database over. I want a fresh, clean install and database on the new server. The reason is that over the years I have done a lot of toying and changing things, and I think it would be easier to start from scratch than to fix all of the things I have done. If it matters, my current server is running v5.5 with SQL server. I would prefer however to install clean on the new server and remove entirely form the old one.

If this is the case, it will be even easier. You just need to do a clean installation onto your new server. Contact us at helpdesk@sysaid.com to get a download link + new activation file.
