Hi All,
just upgraded to the latest version but when users submit new sevice requests, the username appears as :-
servername/username instead of just username
and also the email is:-
username@servername instead of username@domainnam.co.uk
This means that the user has 2 accounts instead of just 1.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Many thanks
Mikey

Managed to sort this problem by going to the End User Portal and unticking 'When a Service Request is submitted from an asset, automatically create a user account for the user of this asset, if no such account already exists.'

Did this actually fix your problem? I have the same problem you do, and I've had that box unchecked for a couple of years.
I end up with username and domain\username accounts.

@ Thanks for the info mikeyjm26
@ CarlH, it could be that when you upgrade it changed some settings.
Are you using LDAP intgration?
Do you have more then one?

Just a question?? What is the value in the "Login DN(s)" and "Name attribute" fields of your LDAP integration page??

Not those then??!!!
A little stumped on this one??
This might sound drastic, but have you thought of removing all the users and then run a refresh from LDAP??

Maybe give it a go!!
I have looked at other possibilities, but seem to be unable to find out why.
I have two domains registered in LDAP which forces the domain\username login for the admins. Luckily the users use the desktop icon and the hot key. Imagine they had to type the whole lot!!!! Whine whine whine!!

I've moved to email integration, but I've found that if I use domain\username and just username, I get different accounts
When I create a SR and go to assign it to someone, I normally have options for domain\username and username

I believe you will have to redo the admins as well after deleting the users and running the LDAP refresh.
