if you look at the screen shot carefully he has shown what the manage favourites screen is showing as defined, and in the top left hand corner, he is showing what is displayed when he clicks on the favourites icon (which is no favourites).
i have too have had this happen to me.
I fixed it by adding yet another favourite and it sorted itself out.
I can't remember exactly but I think it was triggered by editing the url of one of my favourites.

Riddle me this one, batman, it seems to have resolved itself. I have neither added nor removed any favorites and now they all show back up for me. This is the not the first time some/all of them we missing from the favorites dropdown.

Was happening for me regularly in v6.5 as well - I was hoping it would be fixed in 7 - but apparantly not 
I did raise a ticket about it - with no real resolution

We are not able to use the favorites either. We purchased the Pro version. Does that make a difference?

Yep, I added a new favorite, as offered by techguy, and it caused them to return.... for now.

Arranging the Favorites according to the caption is currently not possible.

As a workaround, you can use the Manage Favorites and replace the caption name and URL's according to the order you want.
