I deployed SysAid version 6.5 both via the deployment tool and also via separate MSI file. however once the installation is complete, the Ilias.exe process is not running. When I try to make it run, it flashes up, then disappears.

I have checked UAC and Firewall and that is not the issue. This happens both on 32 bit Windows systems occasionally and on Win 7 64 bit occasionally. For example, I'm running Win 7 on the exact same 64 bit setup as my partner here and it's all working fine for me, but he cannot get the Ilias.exe process to run. Without it, I cannot get accurate reporting.

Has anyone else run into this before?

Check the event viewer....

That is not a bug, it's a feature...
