Hi,

Since we first installed sysaid we have always had an issue with the spell checker not working. The error is:

ERROR
The spell checker is unavailable. If you continue to receive this message, please contact your server administrator.

Unable to Open Specified Dictionary: English (GB)

Any idea's

Hi John,

In order to use the spell checker with languages other than US English, please download the file at http://www.ilient.com/down/lex.zip Extract the file into the ...\SysAidServer\ directory then and restart the SysAid Server service.

Now you will be able to use it in En (GB).

Hello,

I am using v7.0.04 Pro Plus Edition Sysaid. I'm trying to use spell checker in spanish but it is impossible. I receive the same error message.

I have downloaded the lex.zip file, I have put the lex_esES.jdx file in /usr/share/tomcat/webapps/sysaid.war directory and it doesn't work.

I have restarted the server of course and I receive the same error.

Can somebody help me?

The file you downloaded is only for En GB and does not support Spanish.

Hello itayH,

Sorry but I have downloaded lex_esES.jdx and it is in spanish.

I have solved this issue with the help of Joseph Zargari. I have to copy "lex_esES.jdx" file into "/tomcat" directory and start the server from that directory: "./bin/startup.sh"
