I am trying to get more information on licensing. Some of the new features that are part of the 7.0 release are not included with the Pro+ edition.

I have pulled the following from your website:
Enterprise Modules:
ITIL Package
Increased customization
API and advanced integration
Multi-site support
SLA/SLM

I already have the ITIL package, I wold like to have the "Increased Customization" option. In beta, this was turned on with a license file.
Am I able to just purchase this as an add on or do I have to upgrade to enterprise to be able to use this feature?

Any help would be appreciated.

I too am very confused about the new enterprise edition licensing,

under my existing Pro+ license I was allowed to customise html & do web forms, according to the new matrix http://www.ilient.com/edition-comparison.htm you can't anymore?
according to http://www.ilient.com/Sysforums/posts/list/4482.page#19874 you can have more than the one survey question, again the matrix says otherwise?

If you have already licensed the ITIL package, does that make you an enterprise customer?
lastly does that mean an end to being to add just certain modules like monitoring when you are ready, if you don't want sla/slm or do you now have to buy the whole enterprise edition.

Could we have bit more explanation please about the new licensing model as this was not explained at the conference.

Hi Michelle, techguy,

The licensing model was changed to reflect 2 main organization needs and provide each with the best solution for them.
The enterprise solution fits organizations with more challenging demands and requirements such as multi locations, 3rd party integration (API), more customizable fields, etc.
On the other hand the Pro Edition is aimed for organizations that may want to start with the core and grow later to other functionality.
By eliminating some functionality we will keep SysAid simpler for them to use - this is very important to us as keeping IT simple is not just tag line for us...
Indeed the comparison matrix is the best way to see the differences between the editions.
In a word, since you asked, the Pro still offers per module licensed while the Enterprise includes all the modules we have so far as well as other more advanced features.
I'm confident each of the Editions will offer the best value for its use in terms of functionality and ease of use - it's all about what you need.
Of course, you can start on the Pro and seamlessly upgrade the Enterprise once your needs change.

Last, as for our veteran SysAiders.
We want to make sure, no major change will be needed on your side and that you will benefit from being with us for long time (many of you for more than 6 years - so you know already SysAid has not done such change before...).
Therefore, we've created a Pro+ license which holds all the functionality you had so far (even if now it's part of the Enterprise edition for that matters) as well as many new options (SLA for example) you can upgrade to in the module you had before.
Of course, should you decide you want to upgrade to the Enterprise Edition, you will be able to do so easily and in the simplest way possible.
There is no re-purchasing or any other issues - you will always be credited for the license you have so far.

Let me just finish by stating that in terms of new features - the vast majority are in release 7.0 regardless of the Edition you are.
So I'm sure you are enjoying them already.

Thanks for the detailed response.

I am very happy to hear that I have several options and if I do decide not to got with Enterprise, I can still purchase the modules that I want.
I will contact Sales to get a quote.
