We recently purchased four additional Administrator licenses. Once we received the activation xml file and attempted to perform the upgrade, we're met with the following:
"Cannot upload file: your activation account is different"
Any clue as to what this might mean? I've emailed SysAid support, but so far my specific question has not been answered.

Which version of SysAid are you currently using?

Please open the activation.xml, is there an entry <sysaidEdition>1</sysaidEdition>?
That was the same issue for us in the last temporary Key. I got a new Key without this entry and it works very well. I think, the newer key are for SysAid 7.x

Thanks. I'll take a look. They key in question is our permanent key, not the temporary key. Does that make a difference?

Aha! I found out what the problem is!
We have two instances of SysAid. One which our Help Desk uses and one which our Customer Service team uses. They're two different accounts. SysAid customer service sent me the activation key for the wrong account.

I don't know but I think, it's the same in permanent or temporary key. We recently purchased some additional user and asset licenses, therefore we had a temporary key.
