G'Day Jacen,
This is possible in SysAid. You can create admin groups is SysAid, make administrators memebers of the groups.
All the members in the group will get a notification when a SR is assigned to their group.

G'Day Tom,
This is possible.
The KB will automatically be filtered if you limit which categories are visible by company.
Company A limited to Category A
Will only see KB articles for Category A, it's Sub-Categories and Third levels.
Let me know if this answers your question.

G'Day Kevin,
I have sent you an email with the project outline we use for our customers.
Please let me know if you require any further info. I can unfortunately not provide you with the contact info of customers in your area.
Maybe my colleagues can assist with this from the head office.

G'Day Tom,
You can not import the MAC address. You can however make this much easier on yourself by utilizing the remote network discovery tool. This can be deployed on the disconnected networks. The tool will discover the network, deploy the agents and create the asset records for you. Asset updates will also be reported back via the remote network discovery. This will however require internet access from those networks.
I would suggest you use one of the Asset custom text fields to import the data into.
Hope this helps.

Port 8080 is not an issue. It mght be that some other application is using the port already.
We can change the port after the installation.
Would you like us to do a remote control session with you?

Which port html port did you specify during the installation?

G'Day G90,
You should have received a quotation by now. I will pass this on as a priority to my colleagues.
Do you still get the error when you double click the Icon?
Which Operating System are you using?
Where did you install the Server Software? Local or on a different device?
Regards,
Pierre

G'Day Tom,
These tasks can certainly be done in SysAid. You need to ensure the group name is a column in the CSV you plan to import and simply map it to the group field in SysAid when you set up the import.
The export can be done from a asset list view. You have to set up the view to contain the columns you want to export and then use the Export to CSV icon.
Let me know if you require any further information.

G'Day Tia,
You can run the SysAid Server on Windows 2008 R2.
You can migrate the settings of the previous installation, but you need to insure the "old" installation is upgraded to the latest edition before the migration of the data.

Good Day Metaphor,
You can check this by going to the Helpdesk Settings>General Settings.
You will find the setting for the end user notifications round about the middle of the page. Click on the elipse button to select the additional statusses for the notifications.

G'Day TFC_Geek,
Have you tried customizing the list view to display fewer columns? This would be one way of doing it.
You can as an alternative hide the module menu (main menu on the left)

|
G'Day Matthijs,
The fields can be removed and added using the blue design cog icon at the top of the form. This is also what you use to change the columns you see in the list view.
This design cog is available throughout SysAid for this purpose.

G'Day,
Notifications for standard Service Request submissions can not currently be stopped based on operating hours.
Monitoring Notifications can be limited, based on operating hours, using the SysAid Monitoring Module.
You might want to contact helpdesk@sysaid.com to request a quotation for a special project to achieve this. I am sure they can help you.
