I am currently on v7.5.03 and I have had no problems what so ever. The remote features works to all my client computers.

I upgraded my server to 7.0, push out the new client agent to all of my computers (including my own of course), and upgraded the SysAid Admin Tools on my computer... and it works! I was able to remote control one of my Windows 7 computers.
I have not full tested it but it seemed to work as well and as fast as remote controling a Windows XP computer.
I did find one bug on the SysAid server, if you click on “Download a SysAid MSI deploy package" under the Downloads tab you will get a screen of nonsense. You have to manually copy the SysAidAgent.msi file from the C: drive on the server.
R. Beymer - make sure you have upgraded your SysAid Admin Tools on the computer you are remoting from as well as updating the SysAid client agent on all your computers.

Hey wow I just checked the Upgrade site and 7.0 is out. What when did this happen??? http://www.ilient.com/release-upgrades.htm
They said the remote to Windows 7 would work with this version. I will upgrade my server this week and test it out and let you know.

The link that I have to download the latest software is http://www.ilient.com/patches.htm
Is there another link that I can download a newer version?

Nothing as of yet. I am currently using the 6.5.05 agent.
Does anyone know if there has been a newer agent released or in beta that I can test?

Update:
My service request for this issue was ultimately escalated to the SysAid senior support team. I supplied them with screenshots of my configuration and SysAid logs files from the remote windows 7 computer as requested by the SysAid support team. It turns out that they will not be able to support Windows 7 until SysAid version 7.0 comes out. As of now they where not able to provide me with any kind of ETA other then the next couple to few months. This really sucks because I really like this software, I guess I will have to keep my eye out for other alternatives.

The mirror drivers are available in the Setting of the deployment tool.
I tried again and again to using the “Deploy SysAid” tool, although I was able to find and enable the “Install mirror driver to accelerate performance” I could not get the tool to deploy the agent to any of my test computers.
I currently deploy the agent through the MIS package via a GPO. I did find and enable the “REMOTECONTROLMIRRORDRIVER” in the MST and was able to redeployed the agent to all of my computers including my main computer, that I remote from, but it still is not working.

I downloaded the drivers you linked but I noticed that none of them are for Windows 7. As I said above I successfully deployed the agent with the "REMOTECONTROLMIRRORDRIVER" enabled in the MSI package. Is that going to be enough or should I also install the drivers on each computer as well?
I also noticed you said this is to reduce latency I am not getting any latency so much as much no connection at all.

Please redeploy the agent to one of your Windows 7 machine using the mirror drivers and try again.
It should help you with connecting to these machine.
Best regards,

I did a search on your site and in the forums. I did not find anything about "mirror drivers". Where can I download them from?

I am having a problem remote controlling all of my Windows 7 computers using the SysAid App. Remote Control works flawlessly on Windows XP computers, but when I click “start” within SysAid under the RC tab for a Windows 7 computer it will just refresh the screen and never throw up the remote control prompt on the client computer.
Is there something specific I need to do for Windows 7 computers so that remote control will work?
