jayvrod,

Can you be a little bit more specific on this? Does tomcat fail to start? Do you get any error message?

You can also find help at http://it.toolbox.com/blogs/locutus/how-to-install-sysaid-in-kubuntu-linux-14039
This is a guide that was written some time ago by one of SysAid's users, but it is still relevant, for installing SysAid on Ubuntu.

Joseph.

Duh.. I did this once before and it didn't fix my issue. But I think then I had another dependency problem.

I forgot all about this setting when I was starting with a Clean Slate..

This worked so far.
Thanks.

Re:Ubuntu Install HELP

It's been quite a while but I installed sysaid under ubuntu server 7.10. Sysaid would not work with the debian/ubuntu build of tomcat 5.25 so I downloaded the latest version 5.5 from tomcat.apache.org, extracted the files, and wrote a really basic init script pointing to the startup.sh and shutdown.sh files in the tomcat/bin directory.

You can extract the files and just start it up with the startup.sh script and then reinstall sysaid and see if that works for you.

*** The link above covers this very well***
I didn't see it until after my post.
