Practical tips, stories and advice for SysAid users

Dear SysAiders,

October's here with new launches and creativity in the air..

There's a quote by American Novelist Thomas Wolfe (1900-1938) " All things on earth point home in old October; sailors to sea, travelers to walls and fences… the lover to the love he has forsaken”.

To be true to the old saying, I want to point home as well – the SysAid homepage that is- and recommend you to watch our new SysAid introduction clip, which demonstrates SysAid helpdesk features and uses.

Our prelaunch release to the SysAid community has brought very positive feedback.
Working on this animation clip reminded our marketers how much they love marketing and how creative it could be.

They even consider sequels to this clip for the Asset Management and Monitoring modules..

In this issue we highlight an exciting feature – The SysAid mobile interface – a great help for IT experts who deal with urgent requests.

We also bring you valuable posts from our SysAid community, and a useful tip from Sarah Lahav, the head of our support team.

You are also invited to take this month's poll – What type of boss do you work for? and view the results of last month's poll.

As for the traditional IT joke, watch the amusing clip we found for you, showing the funny side of tech-support and other IT related issues.

Sincerely,

Israel Lifshitz
CEO

SysAid Mobile Interface

How to check your service requests without even being at your office?

You may have not realized it yet, but already built-in in your SysAid is the option to search, read and even answer your service requests through your mobile phone.

Any cellular phone with an internet connection can easily reach the SysAid mobile interface. Simply connect to the web from your cellular phone and then go to:

http://helpdesk.ilient.com/m/

This is one example, yet /m can be used for any installation, not just for helpdesk.ilient.com. The SysAid Mobile Interface enables you to enjoy a simpler graphic-free interface especially designed for cellular phones.

We hope that now that you know this secret you won’t decide to stay in bed instead of going to the office…
