SysAid Version 2.5.8
Ilient is happy to announce a new SysAid
patch.
We constantly add new features and remove
bugs from our SysAid IT management software so that you can
focus on what's really important -- keeping your in-house
customers happy.
SysAid provides the best help desk and asset management around. With this patch, your version of SysAid will be even better.
Details:
Version: 2.5.8
Date Released: June 15, 2005
New Features:
Escalation rules now have "escalation
priority". Certain conditions for service requests
(e.g., high-urgency requests two weeks past their due date)
might merit escalation of a high priority. You can create
low-priority escalation rules for non- critical conditions
(e.g., service requests that are only a day past their due
date). Escalated service requests can be re-escalated with
a different priority.
LDAP groups (such as user groups in the
Active Directory) can now be imported to SysAid as user groups.
The remote control tool has been
upgraded to the latest version of Ultra VNC.
The deployment tool now allows better
installation/un-installation of the client.
The client now allows detection of the latest
hardware components.
The translate option no longer requires a
service restart, and presents all data on a single page.
Better data browsing: A combined view for
Projects/Tasks/Task Activities lets the user browse all data on
a single page.
Fixed Bugs:
An operating times settings bug on some
time zones.
SMTP authentication support.
How
do I set up email authentication?
