New Features in SysAid version 4.5.08
Listed below are new features added to SysAid for your outmost comfort and satisfaction:
Device update- a new type of update- was added to the Monitoring Software/Hardware section in SysAid. The device update enables receiving notifications about changes in storage, memory, or both.
New Monitoring Notification Templates- new templates were added for monitoring notifications. The new notification defaults include more information about each monitoring test, and can order data in the text of the notification itself.
New parameters added to the End User Portal- user, loginBean, firstName, lastName, userName, companyName, and companyKey

Mac Address in Windows 98’ |
Addresses of Mac computers cause problems when using Windows 98’ version. SysAid takes the address of the modem instead the address of the computer itself. |
The Mac address is correct. SysAid does not replace it with the number of the modem, for all versions of Windows. |
Assets Appear to be Offline |
Occasionally assets that are connected to the network appear to be offline, which prevents them from being remote-controlled. |
Even when remote-controlled, the state of the asset is correctly updated, whether offline or online. |

Note that SysAid version 4.5.03 is needed in order to upgrade to version 4.5.08. If you are using an earlier version, please use the link on this page to download version 4.5.03 before downloading version 4.5.08
Run the downloaded file to upgrade your version of SysAid. When you install the update, the SysAid server will be restarted (Linux users must manually restart the Tomcat server). Thus, you should update SysAid when users are not accessing the system.
