SysAid considers "assets" to be computers, printers, laptops, and any other machine you want to view and/or control over the network. Individual components of a unit (such as a workstation's screen or keyboard) are not considered assets; the unit as a whole is.
"End users" can submit service requests to the help desk. "Administrators" receive service requests, manage the network's assets, and control the system's preferences. |
